Today's Prescribed Burns

In Jackson County, the following prescribed burning projects are scheduled for today:

-- A 43-acre unit on private land located 14 miles north of Rogue River
-- A 53-acre unit on private land located 16 miles north of Rogue River
-- A 70-acre unit on private land located 1 mile west of Butte Falls
-- A 60-acre unit on private land located 7 miles northwest of Butte Falls
-- A 57-acre unit on private land located 7 miles north of Gold Hill
-- A 40-acre unit on private land located 8 miles northwest of Shady Cove

The following project sites will be burned today in Josephine County:

-- A 76-acre unit on private land located 11 miles northeast of Cave Junction
-- A 40-acre unit on private land located 6 miles northeast of Cave Junction

Several prescribed burning projects are also scheduled for today on national forest and Bureau of Land Management lands in both counties.
